You wanna go???

Ok everyone, here goes....

At the expert advice of one John Tobin, my Internet Marketing teacher at Camosun College, I've decided to start a blog on one of my true passions: the age old spectacle known as the hockey fight, donnybrook, tilt, brouhaha, scrap or whatever else its been called. I've got a few contacts so far from the AHL (American Hockey League, which is the minor league teams for the NHL), and of course the NHL, and plan to start interviewing them regularly about what its like to be an enforcer in hockey. I want to be known as that guy who asks the cool questions and gets the cool answers. Not your basic generic crap about how they got into hockey and how old were they, but rather what type of music gets them fired up, and what the biggest asskicking they've ever handed out has been. So hopefully I can create a little bit of buzz for this here, as I've got quite a few guys that have said they're interested, and then from there we'll see if i can get a website up and running. I'm never gonna compete with hockeyfights.com, as that's the holy grail of hockey fights, and I'm pretty pumped that site is around, cause without it i wouldn't be able to watch pretty much every fight that's happened for the last five years and beyond! My hope is to do my own thing, and maybe even team up with them and become another element of their already wicked site. My other goal with this here is to eventually head over to Vancouver and interview the Canucks tough guys in person. I know it seems like a stretch but I'm pretty determined I'll make it happen. And if you doubt me....then you can kiss my ass.

But for now, i gotta ask be patient, let me know what you guys wanna hear from the guys i interview, and you can submit questions (I hope, cause i don'tknow how this site works!) and I'll be sure to ask. As of right now, I'm hoping to have Kip Brennan, formerly of the Islanders, Ducks, Kings and Thrashers as my first guest, he's been wicked as I've used some of his info for other projects in school and whatnot. So I'll try to get that up soon.
